Balcony Repair and Replacement
The corrosion of reinforcing steel, the change between night and day temperatures, and freeze thaw cycling, help contribute to the deterioration of concrete at railing post pockets. The deteriorated concrete is typically removed by chipping hammers and replaced with new concrete  I.n some cases balconies may have deterioration which is beyond the limits of normal concrete repair. A variety of factors may contribute to the severity of the delaminated concrete. Cantilevered, post-tensioned, or structural steel-framed balconies can be replaced if warranted. Once repaired, a coating system is typically used to protect the new concrete.

 

Caulking, Cleaning & Glazing
Age and movement often cause the failure of building control joints, expansion joints, and at the intersections of dissimilar materials. Caulking and Glazing is the process of resealing the failed areas to return the building to its original state.

 

Facade Repair
Do to the settling of the structure and exposure to the elements over time building exteriors begin to deteriorate. Brick Replacement, tuckpointing, shelf angle & flashing restoration, stabilization, and facade cleaning are a few of the repairs that may be performed to restore the exterior of a high-rise building.
