Grouting Grouting has many uses in the concrete restoration industry. It is used for waterproofing, void filling, soil stabilization, slab jacking, and to restore fractured concrete back to its original monolithic state. There are different types of materials used for each of the various grouting applications. Cementitious grouts are used for void filling, slab jacking and soil stabilization. Epoxy resins are used to chemically weld concrete cracks back together, while urethane based grouts are used to stop water intrusion through cracks and joints.
